Here in the USA it’s the 4th of July holiday weekend and just past Canada Day on July 1. Looking around the globe, there seem to be holidays everywhere in July: 

• Jul 01: Canada Day
• Jul. 02: World UFO Day
• Jul. 06: Kupala Night
• Jul. 04: US Independence Day
• Jul. 14: Bastille Day
• Jul. 18: Nelson Mandela International Day
• July 29: Global Tiger Day

We will celebrate any and all memorable holidays from any time or any place. Share holiday memories that left an impression on you or maybe a song about a holiday that really meant something special to you. If you have a song about any holiday, you could be eligible for Bonus Points. (The prize is knowing that You got Bonus Points!) 

Seriously, SNL-VOM is here to enjoy being with guitar geeks and providing an opportunity to play / listen to some guitar music in a Virtual Open Mic setting. There is absolutely no pressure to perform a song about a holiday. Just be with us and share any music you’d like. We’re all ears and applause!

The theme is just for fun!  You can still attend and perform even if you don't have a themed song to play or a story to tell.
